SARLL STILL CONFIDENT

STEVENAGE boss Darren Sarll is adamant his side are in a position of strength going into the Christmas period, despite a disappointing defeat at Blackpool last weekend.

Sarll’s side won three out of five games before the Tangerines defeat.

“We are still in a good position to have a real good go at the top seven spots,” said Sarll.

“I see Stevenage in a position of strength that can really move on.

“We have two opportunities over Christmas. We can’t back away and have to make sure we get ourselves in the ascendancy.”
