MCKENNA SIGNS ON AT WOLVES

DAN McKENNA received the perfect birthday present this week as he signed his first professional contract with Wolves.

The deal keeps the 17year-old Irish midfielder, who celebrated his birthday last Monday, at the club until at least the summer of 2019.

“It was a great day for me to sign my first professional contract and even better to have my family over as well,” he said.

“They have played a big part in my football ever since I was a young kid and my mum used to drive me to all the games back home.

“It is a great step for me. I am really settled here at Wolves and enjoying the season.”
