KIWOMYA STAY IS IN THE AIR

CHELSEA are driving a hard bargain as negotiations to extend Alex Kiwomya’s loan deal continue, according to Crewe boss Steve Davis.

The 20-year-old winger has been a smash hit at Gresty Road so far – scoring seven goals before the weekend – and Crewe are keen to keep him until the end of the season.

Davis said: “If they want us to pay a little more it’s whether we can do that or not.

“It’s an easy decision from our perspective because of what Alex has already achieved here.

“He’s playing every week and we have done the things we promised.”
