CURLE’S BUGGING NEILOVER HEALEY!

- By Paul Eddison

KEITH Curle has set his sights on Cardiff City striker Rhys Healey as a January reinforcement as the Cumbrians look to boost their promotion ambitions.

Healey has spent time on-loan at Newport this season, but is back at the Championship club for the time being.

Cardiff boss Neil Warnock is set to decide whether the 22-year-old is ready for regular action with the Bluebirds but Curle is urging him to send Healey up to Brunton Park.

He said: “I spoke to Neil three times and I’m bugging the life out of him!

“Neil’s got Healey back in to have a closer look himself, then decisions will be made for the betterment of Neil, Cardiff and the player. We posted our interest, he’s aware of our interest, and we can’t do any more than that.”

Carlisle are set to let a couple of players leave on loan in January but Curle is adamant he will not need to offload players before bringing in any fresh faces.
