OLLIE’S SO GLAD TO SNAP UP GOSS
QPR have strengthened their midfield options by signing Sean Goss from Manchester United – and manager Ian Holloway is chuffed to bits.
The 21-year-old joined the Red Devils from Exeter in 2012, but didn’t make a senior appearance at Old Trafford.
The German-born midfielder has now joined the R’s for an undisclosed fee, believed to be £500,000, on a three-and-a-half year contract.
Delighted QPR boss Ian Holloway said: “He’s a young player with great potential – and I feel there are players at Manchester United who can get a little bit lost, because they’ve always got the best of the best of the best.
“I’ve managed to borrow one or two from United over the years, but sometimes you spot one and you want him – and that’s exactly why I’ve bought Gossy here.
“I firmly believe he’s got a fantastic future ahead of him.”
