DERMOT DELIGHT OVER JOSH

CRAWLEY boss Dermot Drummy believes defender Josh Lelan will go from strength to strength after signing a contract until the end of next season.

Kenya international Lelan, 22, came through the Derby academy and helped Northampton win promotion to League One last season.

Released by the Cobblers and unsuccessful in trials since, he signed for Crawley on Thursday.

“We really rate Josh,” said Drummy. “He’s athletic, has a great work ethic and will give us another option defensively.

“A lot of clubs have looked at him this season but he’s here now.”
