from the chance of a Wembley final, progress in the Checkatrade Trophy has proved lucrative for the clubs still in the competition.
A reward of £50,000 was on offer for quarter-final winners, meaning Coventry City have now earned £140,000 in prize money in total. Wycombe have trousered a cool £130,000.
With their last eight ties yet to be decided, Yeovil have so far picked up £85,000, while Luton, Oxford and Bradford have pocketed £80,000.
In total, there is a prize fund of £1.95m this year in comparison to £478,000 last season.
