GUTSY ROVERS CAN GET OUT OF TROUBLE
BRIGHTON & Hove Albion are back to winning ways and with seven games left and a possible 21 points up for grabs, it looks like this could finally be the Seagulls’ season. And with Huddersfield losing late to Burton Albion they have a ninepoint cushion over the Yorkshire side.
Blackburn can still get themselves out of the relegation zone as they showed promise against a good Brighton team. This was Tony Mowbray’s first loss as Blackburn manager and the former Coventry boss has certainly turned the club’s fortunes around – they had won two and drawn five of their previous seven matches.
And if they put in performances like this for the next seven games then they should be able to pull themselves out of trouble.
Despite not adding to his 13 goals this season Anthony Knockaert’s assist and a man-of-thematch performance will certainly not go unnoticed as his bid for Championship Player of the Year gathers pace.
