SPRING IS SPRUNG AT STANLEY

-

ACCRINGTON Stanley have blossomed this spring, and manager John Coleman expects their marvellous March to set up a late play-off charge.

The Lancashire side won five of their seven matches last month in a 12-game unbeaten run, which stretched back to February’s 2-0 loss at Portsmouth.

That left them 11th before the weekend, seven points off the play-offs, and Coleman sees no reason why they can’t mount a late surge.

“We’ve scored goals and it’s like a snowball effect,” he said. “The things you’ve done give you confidence for the future.”
