HURST IN SALUTE TO SADLER
MAT Sadler epitomises the consistency that Shrewsbury are looking for, according to manager Paul Hurst.
The 32-year-old defender had made 32 Shrews appearances this term before yesterday’s trip to Bristol Rovers and Hurst has been impressed by the former Birmingham, Watford and Crawley man.
“The number one person in terms of consistency is Mat Sadler, an experienced lad and one that doesn’t get flustered,” explained Hurst.
“Does he make every pass correct? No. But in terms of knowing what you’re going to get, he’s the stand-out one.”
