NEWPORT ‘BUSINESS AS USUAL’

-

NEWPORT County’s uncertain future at Rodney Parade will have no influence on whether the club stay up this season, says caretakermanager Michael Flynn.

The Welsh Rugby Union is trying to buy the ground, which could leave the club searching for a new home next season.

But Flynn, whose side are in the relegation zone, insists his players will not be affected.

“I don’t think they really take too much notice of what’s written in the papers,” he said.

“They’re a good bunch and they just get on with their work. They train to the best of their ability.”
