KENNEDY DEAL CAN LIFT BORO
STEVENAGE are convinced they have kept hold of a unique talent after announcing that Ben Kennedy signed an extended contract with the club on Friday.
The 20-year-old striker agreed a deal until 2019, after making more than 70 appearances for the club since his first-team debut in January 2015.
Kennedy, a Northern Ireland Under-21 international, had notched nine goals this term heading into the weekend.
Chairman Phil Wallace said: “Ben is a unique talent. He is a big-game player and we have worked hard to develop him on and off the pitch.”
