DOYLE IS BACK AT SKY BLUES
PORTSMOUTH captain Michael Doyle has agreed to join League Two-bound Coventry City after being released by Pompey.
The 35-year-old midfielder will return to the Sky Blues when his Pompey contract expires at the end of June.
He previously played almost 300 times for Coventry during an eightyear spell.
Doyle has been Pompey skipper since joining the club from Sheffield United in the summer of 2015.
He scored three goals in 96 games at Portsmouth, with his superb strike at Accrington shortlisted for Goal of the Year at last month’s EFL Awards.
