Born: Oswestry, 1974 (age 42) 1991-1999 Came through the ranks at Shrewsbury, making his debut at the age of 17. Helped the Shrews to the Division Three title in 1993-94 and went on to make 238 appearance­s, scoring 36 goals. 1999-2002 Moved to Brentford for £110,000 in March 1999 and helped the Bees secure the Division Three title that season. Played 155 games for Brentford, netting 34 goals, in three and a half years. Memorably scored from the halfway line in a 2-2 draw against Preston in 1999. Suffered defeat in the LDV Vans Trophy final against Port Vale in 2001 and to Stoke in the Division Two play-off final in 2002, both at Cardiff. Made his internatio­nal debut for Wales in a goalless draw against the Czech Republic in March 2002 and also played against Croatia later that year. 2002-2006 Joined Bradford City on a free in August 2002 and then had loans at Blackpool and Nottingham Forest before joining the latter permanentl­y. Helped the Reds stay up in 2003-04 but couldn’t prevent them being relegated the following season. Had a loan spell at Rotherham in late 2005. 2006-2017 Joined Swindon in 2006 and helped them win promotion from League Two. Returned to Bradford and finished his career with Oxford United, FC Halifax Town and Farsley Celtic. Currently first team masseur with Leeds.
