Team mates
Best mate? Chris Humphrey is my best mate, I’d say. His character is too funny. Every day at training, he makes me laugh. On the pitch or in the dressing room, he’s just non-stop. Last to buy dinner? I haven’t been here very long and I haven’t heard many stories, but I think I’ll go with Leo Fasan. It’s difficult to say. Worst dressed? A lot of the boys get on to Nathan Cameron for the stuff he produces. He comes in with a lot of tight jeans and a multi-coloured T-shirt that I wasn’t sure about. He gets a lot of stick, to be fair. I think that’s the worst I’ve seen so far. To be honest, most of the boys have got some good stuff. Dressing room DJ? Chris Maguire. I’m not too sure about his music, to be honest. I’m not very keen. Every now and then, he comes up with something decent, but mostly it’s house and garage – I can’t take too much of it after five minutes. Greg Leigh had a go at it and got a lot of stick from the other lads. I didn’t mind it, but we went back to Chris. Always late for training? Alex (Mihai) Dobre comes in late a lot. There have been a good few times that I can remember. He’s been a good 20 minutes late before and been fined for that. Neil Danns comes in literally five seconds before the appointed time, so he cuts it fine, too. First on dance floor? This is an interesting one. I’ve heard stories about Joe Murphy – that when he gets on the dance floor, he loves to fist pump and bop his head. Sounds like it would be him if he was there on the night. I don’t go for any moves myself. I try to stay away from it. Teacher’s pet? Andrew Tutte. He’s good mates with (player-coach) Ryan Lowe, so I reckon he’d be up there. Most likely to disgrace themselves at a Christmas party? Chris Maguire. He’s another big character. He loves to make the boys laugh or do something crazy. He’s got all the tricks in the book, so I could see him doing something at a Christmas party. FIFA king? There are a few lads who are meant to be decent, from what I’ve heard. Chris Humphrey is meant to be but Alex Whitmore is terrible. I think I’m going to have to say myself on this one. No-one’s going to beat me because I play every day. I haven’t played against them yet, but I know it’s going to be me. Worst tattoos? Leo Fasan. I like the guy, but his tattoos are just not for me. He’s got some really colourful ones with some weird faces on them. It just doesn’t do it for me. Chris Maguire has loads, as do Jermaine Beckford and Chris Humphrey, but Leo’s are just terrible. Likely to make the best manager? That would be Stephen Dawson. He’s got that bit of steel and a bit of control that would help you to become a manager. He’s our current captain, so we know he has the leadership skills to be successful. When he talks to the boys, he gets them really up for it.
