Best mate at the club? To be fair, all the lads are! They’re a great bunch, but I probably get on with Matt Bloomfield quite well, along with Scott Brown and Craig Mackail-Smith, too. It is a hard choice, though, because we do all get on really well. They’re the type of people who I’ll stay in touch with for a long time. Last to buy dinner? I think Luke O’Nien is, and Sido Jombati – he’s definitely tight! I don’t think Sido spends any money at all. He always takes lunch home with him! He has lunch here and then takes it home for his dinner. I guess that is quite thrifty! Worst dressed? I’ve got to say Luke O’Nien again. He’s the only player I’ve known who will come in wearing shorts and Tshirt when it’s snowing! It’s a continuing theme with him. He comes in wearing shorts and T-shirt every single day – I think he’s just crazy! Dressing room DJ? Scott Brown always has his music on for the home games. It’s not always to everyone’s taste, really. I think it’s a bit questionable at times, but we bear with it and it gets us going, and seems to be working wonders for us. To be fair, he caters to the younger lads quite a bit. If we win, he does put on stuff to satisfy the oldies – myself, Craig (MackailSmith) and Bayo (Adebayo Akinfenwa). Always late for training? There are three! Paris (Cowan-Hall) is one. Then there’s Yves MaKalambay – but to be fair to Yves, he has two jobs. I think he works at 5 or 6am at Virgin Active doing PT sessions and then he comes to training. The other one is our good mate Bayo (Akinfenwa). He’s in a completely different time zone to everyone else! Those three are always late and our meetings are delayed. I think Bayo’s too busy doing his social media in his car before he comes into training! Teacher’s pet? Dominic Gape is up there. Scotty Kashket as well. You cannot help but like Scotty really, even though he talks forever! I can’t bear it at times. He needs his mouth taping up! He just goes from one subject to another without anyone else putting in a view. He switches subject so quickly it’s ridiculous. We’re all like: “Scotty, do you not talk to your missus at home?”. He just comes to training and lets it all out! First on dance floor? Adam El-Abd. Once he’s had too many coffees, he is hyper. Anthony Stewart, as well, is probably one of the best dancers at the club. Most likely to disgrace himself at a Christmas party? I would probably say Adam again with his dancing. Once he’s had a few drinks, he’s away with the fairies! FIFA king? As an older guy, I don’t get involved in all that – it’s for the kids, isn’t it!? Tafari Moore, Nick Freeman and Randell Williams are the best. I think they play all the time. Worst tattoo? I really don’t think there are any regrettable ones or, if there are, I haven’t seen them! We’re a unique squad. Best manager in the future? There are a few, being an older squad, but I’d probably say either Matt Bloomfield or Marcus Bean. It’d be a close call between those two.
