Best mate at the club?

I would probably say that I get on best with Gareth Evans. I haven’t known him for too long but we’re just a similar age and have similar interests, really.

Last to buy dinner?

It has to be Jamal Lowe, definitely. He is tight and he wouldn’t mind me saying it – he knows it himself, so he wouldn’t care!

Worst dressed?

That’s a tough one – oh no, it isn’t actually! It’s definitely Christian Burgess. He just wears terrible gear and gets a bit of stick from the boys for it.

Dressing room DJ?

That’s Jamal Lowe. He plays R&B and hip-hop, normally. It is just the same playlist every week really but everyone’s happy with it – at least, I suppose they are! It gets the boys going before a match, and that’s all that matters.

Who’s always late for training?

Do you know what, we’ve actually got quite a good squad at the moment. Noone’s really late for training, to be honest. There is a fine system but no-one’s really been late so far – maybe that’s the reason! The kitty goes towards the squad, though. We’ll do something with it at some point in the year.

Teacher’s pet?

I would say Ben Close is probably the teacher’s pet at the moment. He doesn’t really suck up to the manager (Kenny Jackett) or anything. He’s just a good lad and is close to the gaffer. The boss loves him, so I would say it has to be Ben Close.

First on the dancefloor?

I don’t know – we haven’t had a night out yet, so I’ve got no idea! No-one’s throwing out any moves in the changing room after we win either. I would say Lee Brown might have a bit but he’s just quite lively, I think.

Most likely to disgrace themselves at the Christmas party?

I reckon Luke McGee – just because he would. I think he’s got it in him but I don’t think he’s trouble. However, he might just get a bit excited – he’s definitely capable of that!

Fifa king?

I think some of the lads do play FIFA but I’ve got no idea. I don’t play. I’ve never really been into that myself.

Worst tattoo?

That’s Ollie Hawkins. It says THFC down his right arm, which stands for Tottenham Hotspur. It doesn’t look like it but that’s what it’s meant to say. He did get some stick when he first came to the club but he doesn’t really any more – it’s worn off a bit now.

Best future manager?

It’s hard to say. We’ve got quite a young squad, so I would say one of the older ones – either me, Danny Rose or Nathan Thompson. It’s something I do fancy myself, actually. At some point, I would like to have a go. I’m not sure what some of the other lads would say about me becoming a manager. I think they’d possibly back me!
