Best mate at the club?

I’ve known Abu Ogogo from way back because we we were at Coventry together, so we are best mates at Rovers too.

We both like the same things and we go out for food together so it’s a proper bromance.

Last to buy dinner?

I haven’t been out with all the lads together but when it is me and Abu, we always share the bill – apart from one time when we played card roulette and he lost in a very expensive restaurant. He was fuming about it – I don’t think he will be playing that game again.

Worst dressed?

It’s tough because everyone just comes in wearing kit – but I’ll throw Kyle Bennett under the bus because he came in wearing a tracksuit the other day and I ended up ordering the same one.

Anyway, it arrived and it was all skintight like a slim fit tracksuit and that doesn’t suit me too well – if I wore it in front of the lads, they would have me right off.

Dressing room DJ?

I would say that I am the DJ to be honest – but most of the time the lads just have headphones in, so I put mine in too.

I like a bit of bassline, hip-hop and grime and the older lads aren’t really into that kind of stuff – but you can’t please everyone can you.

Always late for training?

There’s nobody in particular but we all have our own little bad habits.

Mine is leaving coffee cups in the changing room – I always get caught out with that.

Teacher’s pet?

I genuinely don’t think we’ve got one here because everyone is friendly and just gets on with one another.

Ollie Clarke obviously gets on with the manager though because he is our leader and our captain, which is fair enough.

First on the dancefloor?

My guy Abu – what a guy he is.

He can really move and is actually really good at dancing so fair play to him.

Some people have got it and some people haven’t – I am not a dancer myself.

Most likely to disgrace themselves at the Christmas party?

Liam Sercombe is the joker in the group and is always making the lads laugh.

I reckon he has got a few things up his sleeve for the Christmas party – I really wouldn’t be surprised.

FIFA king?

I don’t really play FIFA; I am more of a Call of Duty kind of guy.

The new one has just come out and I am investing quite a bit of time in that – I think I am easily the best here.

Worst tattoo?

Abu has got the funniest tattoo I’ve ever seen on his back – it says ‘Abu’.

He is getting it removed at the moment. Honestly, it is so funny.

It’s not that big and I don’t even know why he got it, but he must have been younger.

Best future manager?

I think Tony Craig would make a great manager or a coach because he has got those leadership qualities on and off the pitch.

You can see it in his work rate and the way he conducts himself – I look up to him and I enjoy being around him.
