Best mate at the club?
I wouldn’t say I’ve got one in particular to be honest – I’ve got quite a few good mates here, so it’s hard to pinpoint just one. But if I had to name a couple, I’d say Baily Cargill and Conor McGrandles.
Last to buy dinner?
Kieran Agard is probably the tightest at the club – I can’t think of any specific examples but he just never offers to buy anyone anything. I’ve certainly never got anything off him!
Worst dressed?
Dylan Asonganyi is definitely the worst dressed – he wears loads of weird things. He’s got these blue and pink tracksuits that he loves, so he gets a bit of stick for it from all of the lads!
Dressing room DJ?
It’s normally Rhys Healey or Conor McGrandles who are playing the tunes before a game – we’re all quite into our house music, or sometimes we like old throwback stuff from the ‘80s. It’s all generally quite upbeat before a game.
Always late for training?
Sam Nombe is the one who’s never on time – he always travels to training from London so he’s always blaming it on that and how tired he is!
First on the dancefloor?
Baily Cargill loves a dance – he’s got quite a few moves in his locker to be fair to him. He does all sorts and he likes a twerk!
Teacher’s pet?
George Williams is the teacher’s pet at the club – on the pitch he’s always shouting at everyone and at training he always makes sure he’s the last to leave. We don’t really give him too much stick for it, though, because that’s just the way he is.
Most likely to disgrace themselves at the Christmas party?
Rhys Healey is probably the one most likely to do something stupid – I don’t have any stories about him in particular but he’s just a bit of a weirdo! He’s got a bit of a strange personality so I’d have to say him I think.
Best at FIFA?
I’m not the best at FIFA myself but I’m definitely the best at Fortnite! The two biggest FIFA players are probably Joe Walsh and Dylan Asonganyi – they’re always up against each other on the coach to games and stuff. I think Joe won the last game they had against each other.
Worst tattoo?
The only one I can really think of is Brennan Dickenson – he’s got some skulls and stuff and I think he’s even got a tattoo of a woman going down his arm or something like that.
Best future manager?
Russell Martin. Got to keep the boss happy! But in all seriousness, it’s been good since he’s switched from player to manager and he knows exactly how he wants to play. From the current squad though I’d have to say Dean Lewington – he’s obviously been here for years and played a lot of games for the club, so he has got a lot of knowledge.
I’ve not had a conversation with him personally about whether or not that’s what he wants to go into, but he’d probably make the best manager.
