A YOUNG beauty pageant winner has raised over £6,000 in funds for children’s hospice, Zoe’s Place and hopes to raise even more ahead of her qualifying for a prestigious national competition.

Olivia Bilton, 20, from Redcar, first started her beauty pageant journey at the age of 16 when she was crowned Miss North Yorkshire 2019. At her most recent pageant, Olivia was also crowned Top Model Tees Valley 2022.

Through the opportunities her pageant wins have brought her, Olivia has been able to raise over £6,000 from sponsored walks and events, for the children’s hospice in Normanby.

Now she has plans to raise even more money for the hospice, ahead of her appearance at the Supermodel England pageant in Leeds.

Olivia said: “I support Zoe’s Place as I am a local girl and I can see first-hand just how crucial the fundraising is needed for the hospice to stay open and continue the amazing work that they do.”

At the Supermodel England pageant, Olivia will be representing the whole of Tees Valley in the hopes of bringing home the crown and going on to compete for England in an international competition.

In the run-up to the national pageant, Olivia is hosting another charity race night to raise more funds for the hospice.

The charity event will take place on Friday, August 26, at the Corus Club in Dormanstown in Redcar and all the money raised at the event will go towards Zoe’s Place.

Olivia added: “I hope to raise as much as I possibly can for the hospice in the run-up to the finals. I hope to bring the crown home for Teesside.”
