ZACH STEFFEN - 5

Got a shove in the back for the second goal but was still rather unconvincing.

ANFERNEE DIJKSTEEL - 4

Too easily pushed away from the ball before Willock smashed the first goal and then lost Dykes for the third. Hooked at the break.

DARRAGH LENIHAN - 4

Brought in to add leadership and composure at the back but he was unconvincing as Boro corroded before receiving a straight red late on. You do question why he wasn’t the man closest to Dykes for the third goal.

MARC BOLA - 6

Not in his most comfortable position but was the least threatened of Boro’s defenders and played the ball out of defence well in the second half.

ISAIAH JONES - 4

Was guilty of giving the ball away in the build-up to all three goals, while offering nothing in attack either. A forgettable afternoon for Boro’s star man.

JONNY HOWSON - 5

Struggled at times with the pace of the game as Boro sloppily gave possession away cheaply. He was guilty once or twice himself, but led by example with the second half fightback.

MATT CROOKS - 6

Finished the game with a goal and assist and was better as the game progressed, but was another player guilty of being sloppy on the ball at times in the first half.

RILEY MCGREE - 5

Didn’t offer enough in the midfield and gave the ball away cheaply too often. Unfortunate not to score an equaliser when an effort was blocked.

RYAN GILES - 7

Another positive display. Delivery for the first goal was superb and was unlucky not to finish with more assists. At least tried to make something happen.

DUNCAN WATMORE - 5

Struggled to have any impact up top. One bright moment at the end of the first half when he chased down what looked a lost cause to create a chance for Forss before being hooked at the break.

MARCUS FORSS - 6

Didn’t offer much up top in the first half, but he wasn’t helped by Boro having little control of the possession when the ball was worked up towards him. Good movement to get in to score his first for the club.
