alone is about a third of our budget.

“I think most people are very, very surprised that he didn’t go to at least a Scottish Premiership club or the clubs in England who were muted at the time.

“Now, I’m pretty sure he’ll have a reason but whatever United have paid it’s a great piece of business.

“He’s already shown what he’s about. He’s not a one-season wonder so will score goals.

“He looks like a player who will be a big, big difference between the team who wins the title and the team who finishes in the play-off spots.

“I have had a good start so hopefully I can kick on and do even better.

“I am not going to put myself under any pressure but if it keeps going and I get myself into positions, then I will back myself to score.

“We showed what we are all about today and if we keep that going we should pick up more good results than bad. The service was really good. If the boys put the ball in there, I back myself to get goals.

“Thankfully they managed to find me three times and obviously the fourth came from out wide as well.”
