Into the Badlands, Series Two (Amazon Prime Video, from Tue) In case you’ve never seen this US TV series before, it’s a simple, every day story – if you happen to be a young boy whose best mate is a warrior (pictured) and you’re seeking enlightenment while travelling through a dangerous feudal land. The first run aired in 2015, so it’s taken a while for the follow-up to appear, but it should be well worth the wait, and this time will last 10 episodes rather than just six. Grace and Frankie (Netflix, from Fri) They first worked together on the hit movie 9 to 5 in 1980 and became firm friends, which is perhaps why the reunion of Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin in this sitcom works so well. Fonda plays Grace, a retired cosmetics mogul, while Tomlin is Frankie, a hippie art teacher. The two women have never particularly liked each other but they’re thrown together when their husbands – both divorce lawyers – fall in love and leave their wives. Now the duo are back for the third run in which they try to start a new business while juggling family issues and rifts in their friendship. The Most Hated Woman in America (Netflix, from Fri) Madalyn Murray O’Hair was the atheist activist who in the 1960s launched a legal action that led to the banning of official bible readings in public schools. Her campaigning continued until in 1995 she and her son and granddaughter were kidnapped and murdered. Now her life is being brought to the screen with Melissa Leo in the lead role.
