FIRST CAR?

My first car was a Nissan Micra. My mam bought it for me for my 18th birthday and surprised me at my party with it! I was so excited.

CURRENT CAR?

I always wanted to have a Mercedes-Benz of some sort and I am very lucky that I was able to get myself one.

DREAM CAR?

My dream car is the silver 4x4 Merc that I drive now and I absolutely love it.

FAVOURITE DRIVE?

I have always really loved driving the route to the Lake District from my house near Newcastle. It is always such a beautiful drive over the A66 and along all the twisting, turning country roads – the scenery is breathtaking.

LEAST FAVOURITE DRIVE?

I don’t really enjoy the drive to London much from Newcastle as it’s very long. I’m also not a fan of city driving in London itself, so I tend to jump on a train or a plane when I’m heading there for work.

BEST ROAD TRIP SOUNDTRACK?

I listen to all sorts of music on the road. I love Lady Antebellum, they have great albums to drive to. But my iPod connects to my car and before I leave I shuffle all my songs and then it’s a surprise whatever comes up as the drive goes on.

IDEAL PASSENGERS?

I would love to drive somebody interesting who could tell lots of stories. But you can’t beat having your friends and family as passengers, really. You can always have a great catch-up on a long car journey.

Joe’s favourite drive is the A66 to the Lake District.
