For Movie Week, the unsung heroes of Strictly’s hair, make-up and wardrobe departments managed to transform Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton into a pair of jiving, bright yellow minions and got Graeme Swann to do the Charleston dressed as Spider-Man. So just imagine what they are planning for this year’s Halloween special... As ever, Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman will be introducing the couples, while Shirley Ballas, Darcey Bussell, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli (who is back from his week off), will be deciding which dances were a treat, and who should have added a few more tricks to their repertoire. But which unlucky couples will be left facing the horror of Sunday night’s dance off?

Some Euro-centric dramas are so compelling, that you wish they lasted longer. Paul Greengrass’s recent film 22 July is a case in point; a brilliantly scripted, acted and directed study of evil based on the 2011 atrocity in Norway. Thirty years ago, the people people of Germany were rocked by their own crisis when an armed bank raid led to lethal repercussions as Dieter Degowski and HansJurgen Rosner went on the run. In this second instalment, the situation escalates as the runaway robbers hijack a bus full of people in Gladbeck city centre.

Killing Eve (BBC1, 9.25pm)

Carolyn brings unwelcome news and a change of priorities, but Eve is closer than she has ever been to Villanelle, and is finally going to meet Anna. Why would she give up the hunt now? Elsewhere, Kenny has some revelations that make Eve question the true purpose of their entire mission. Villanelle is still in prison, now in solitary confinement and waiting for the rescue organised by Konstantin that never seems to come. Penultimate episode of the spy thriller series, starring Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh.

The Jonathan Ross Show (STV, 10.35pm)

The host is joined on the sofa by Brendan O’Carroll - the man behind Mrs Brown’s Boys - whose new quiz show For Facts Sake is currently airing on BBC One on Monday nights. Big Brother and The Voice UK presenter Emma Willis also drops by to talk about her new show Delivering Babies, which can be seen on UKTV’s W channel. Plus, an appearance by Chabuddy G, star of award-winning sitcom People Just Do Nothing, with Boyzone performing live in the studio and discussing their forthcoming farewell tour.

SUNDAY Doctor Who (BBC1, 7pm)

The Doctor manages to bring Ryan, Yaz and Graham safely back home to 21st-century Sheffield, only to discover a sinister mystery is unfolding on their home turf.
