Imagine – James Graham (BBC1, 10.45pm)

It’s perhaps an odd moment to broadcast a documentary about playwright James Graham. Usually such documentaries are aired after a moment of triumph, but this one comes after his most recent project, the screenplay for Channel 4’s Brexit: The Uncivil War, disappointed in the ratings - what’s more, there presumably won’t have been time to add anything about his feelings on the matter, which would have been interesting. But never mind. Instead, Alan Yentob talks to Graham while trying to figure out what makes him tick. He also learns more about his childhood in a former mining town in Nottinghamshire, while journalists, politicians and collaborators including Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman offer their views on his work.

Starship Troopers (1997) (ITV4, 9pm)

IN the 23rd century, citizenship and the right to vote have to be earned, usually by military service. However, the soldiers are unprepared for the carnage that awaits.

However, they soon realise there is something even more dangerous lurking amid the trees – a murderous alien hunter who likes to skin its human prey alive.
