You’ll be feeling Fyne at picturesque holiday park

-

WHEN deciding on something as important as purchasing a holiday home, it’s important that the site you choose ticks all of the right boxes.

Stunning location, relaxing atmosphere, nearby outdoor activities and amenities will all perhaps be on your list of must-haves, and if so, then there are fewer finer examples in Scotland than the idyllic Strathlachlan Caravan Park.

Beautifully situated on the east shore of Loch Fyne in Argyll, just outside the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park and only an hour and a half drive from Glasgow, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your luxury holiday home.

The park is owned and run by the MacLachlan family and is sited on their estate, home to the MacLachlan clan since they arrived in Scotland

from Ireland over a thousand years ago.

It is set amidst some of the most breathtaking scenery on Scotland’s west coast, and benefits from its proximity to some of the country’s most precious jewels such as magnificent castles, gardens and beaches.

Unlike some parks where the options for dining are limited to self-catering, just a gentle stroll along the shore from the park you’ll find the Inver Cottage Restaurant, which offers excellent home-cooking using locally-sourced produce. Open all day

throughout the summer for coffee, tea, and light lunches, the restaurant also features a delicious dinner menu served in a friendly atmosphere overlooking Loch Fyne.

If you are looking for something different though, a range of options and amenities can be found in Dunoon, Inveraray, Tighnabruaich or even the Island of Bute which are all nearby. For the more adventurous, the location on the Cowal Peninsula is perfectly situated for excellent sea and freshwater fishing, hill walking, sailing, diving and golf.
