MAKE MORE OF WEEKENDS WITH A HOLIDAY HOME

-

WATCHING the clock on a wet afternoon at work, it can lift the heart to know that there’s a little piece of Scotland awaiting you come Friday evening.

Holiday home ownership is more popular than ever as we look to spend time with our loved ones away from daily pressures.

Many holiday parks have great access and facilities – such as one on the picturesque Angus coast which is right next to Monifieth railway station and within five minutes’ walk of the village shops.

Parks can offer everything from tent pitches to luxury lodges with spacious decks and hot tubs.

Many parks offer something a bit different too - Abbeyford Leisure, for example, has excellent parks across the East Neuk of Fife in St Andrews, Elie, and St Monans with ownership and holiday rent opportunities. In addition it offers a different experience at Lower Largo, with its Robinson Crusoe Retreat Cottages. There are also parks to choose from in North Wales.

Across the Firth of Forth, Meadowhead Limited offers camping pitches, holiday homes, wigwams, shepherd’s huts and coastal holiday cottages. Choose from Tantallon and Belhaven in East Lothian or Mortonhall in Edinburgh. All are placed for explorers to get out and see the coast. Head slightly further south for Meadowhead’s lovely Northumbrian location too. Many holiday parks are a manageable driving distance from large cities, ideal for those who need that quick weekend break without hours of tiring travel.

Verdant Leisure has a range of lodges to buy or to rent in southern Scotland and northern England – including Pease Bay and Viewfield Manor in Ayrshire. Many parks also offer ownership schemes that offset costs through renting, making holiday homes one luxury that is very affordable.
