Dan Gallagher (Michael Douglas) has a weekend fling with sexy advertising executive Alex Forrest (Glenn Close). However, she turns out to be psychotic and proceeds to make his and his family’s life a living hell. Director Adrian Lyne’s suspense-filled thriller holds the attention, despite veering wildly out of control in the third act.
WEDNESDAY
For Your Eyes Only (1981) (ITV4, 8pm)
James Bond (Roger Moore) sets out on the trail of a device from a sunken ship that is capable of rendering British vessels useless. Unfortunately for 007, the Russians are after the device and Bond soon encounters a crossbow-toting woman who is out to avenge her father’s death. In true 007 style, the suave spy manages to charm his way out of trouble and together with the lethal lovely, Bond sets off to find the missing device before it falls into the wrong hands.
2 Guns (2013) (Film4, 11.20pm)
Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg are the main reasons to tune in to this action adventure. Drug enforcement agent Bobby
Trent (Washington) and dirt-talking navy officer Michael ‘Stig’ Stigman (Wahlberg) have been tasked with working undercover to infiltrate a drug cartel. The problem is neither Bobby nor Stig know that the other is also working as an undercover agent, having given each other madeup backstories. When their identities are discovered, Bobby and Stig give each other both barrels and fall out in spectacular style.

The Fugitive (1993) (ITV4, 9pm)
This big-screen remake of the cult sixties TV series stars Harrison Ford as prominent vascular surgeon Dr
line. The control centre asks him to take his vehicle back to York, as the death means trains must be rerouted across the region. However, trespassers during the return leg only add to his woes. Meanwhile, in the Ardwick train depot, a Class 185 has a cracked manifold (part of its exhaust system). Engineer Steve has to drain off hundreds of litres of toxic coolant from the train before he can get at the damaged component.
