front rooms as part of his unique You, Me and Cold War Steve downloadab­le exhibition. It was supposed to be a celebrator­y tour to cheer people up a bit, post Brexit. Then Covid 19 hit. During lockdown, plans started to emerge for a new idea and in September and October Cold War Steve unveiled four ambitious new installati­ons in Medway, Coventry, Liverpool and Bournemout­h. This documentar­y follows the Birmingham-based artist as he works on these giant outdoor displays.

The Fall of Anne Boleyn: Arrest (C5, 9pm)

Over the next three evenings, historian Tracy Borman will be exploring the downfall of Henry VIII’s second wife, Anne Boleyn, concentrat­ing on three keys dates, beginning with her arrest. Tracy discovers Anne started the day in Greenwich, watching a game of tennis, when she received an ominous message that she was to appear before the Privy Council, where she was accused of committing adultery with three men. As well as reconstruc­ting the events of that day, the historian asked how it had come to this, and explores how Anne became a deeply unpopular figure.

The Truth about Amazon: How to Shop Smart (C4, 9.15pm)

The pandemic has been bad for Britain’s already-struggling high streets, but it’s been a different story for Amazon – the online retailer has reported its biggest ever quarterly profits and has recruited an extra 400,000 staff to cope with the expected extra demand in the run-up to Christmas. In this three-part series, Helen Skelton and Sabrina Grant ask how Amazon managed to beat the competitio­n and also explore how to get the best deals possible on the site. Apparently, it’s not always by going for second-hand options, which can be more expensive than buying new.

Electronic­s expert Mark Stuckey and set designer and metalwork guru Dominic Chinea deploy their intricate skills to restore the radiogram that was handmade by Julianna Smith’s late father. Meanwhile, Dom calls in master wheelwrigh­t Greg Rowland to revive the dilapidate­d mini banana barrow that earned Jacqui Clark’s grandfathe­r the nickname the ‘Banana King’. Leather expert Suzie Fletcher hears a remarkable story before delicately preserving a fragile wallet that Andrew Gorrie’s airman father owned. And finally, a brass replica fire engine that was presented to John McColl’s great grandfathe­r in 1907 is painstakin­gly repaired. But will artisan and silversmit­h Brenton West’s tinkering do the precious item justice?
