Mel Giedroyc hosts the final of the competitio­n as the three remaining woodworker­s tackle their biggest challenge yet – towering garden buildings. They are given just two days to come up with the sort of large-scale creations that would normally take the profession­als weeks to make. However, just because they are working under pressure and to a tight deadline, it doesn’t mean that judges Alex de Rijke and Helen Welch will be lowering their standards. All of the hopefuls have done well to make it this far, but there can only be one winner...

Over the past decade, UK consumers have certainly embraced the concept of Black Friday, but are the deals on offer always as good as they appear? Martin Lewis recently took to Twitter to share his top tip – if you’ve got your eye on something in particular, check the price now to see if it really is cheaper when it’s ‘discounted’. With Black Friday coming this week and Christmas just a month away, no doubt Lewis will have more handy hints to share about snagging bargains and making your cash go further.

Nadiya’s Fast Flavours (BBC2, 8.30pm)

Viewers know former Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain is a whizz with cakes and desserts, so the good news is that this week, she’s focusing on sweet sensations. She’s rustling up a custard tart with a creme brulee twist, as well as a sweet coffee and walnut focaccia. There’s also a supposedly fool-proof biscuit dough, and a desert based on the classic flavour combinatio­ns of chocolate mint. Plus, Boltonbase­d pastry chef Dinesh Patel shares his signature Shrikhand cheesecake, which uses flavours found in a traditiona­l Indian sweet treat.

Death of England (Sky Arts, 10pm)

January 2021. While Britain is locked down, divided and facing some difficult truths, old friends Michael and Delroy are dealing with issues much closer to home. Tensions are running high, and during an explosive afternoon in Delroy’s East London flat, the pair are forced to confront their relationsh­ip with their country – and with each other. Neil Maskell (Peaky Blinders, Small Axe) and Giles Terera (Hamilton) play Michael and Delroy in Clint Dyer and Roy Williams’ powerful and timely new film from the National Theatre.
