Hamilton unable to stop champions’ unbeaten run
CHAMPIONS Falkirk extended their unbeaten run in cinch League One to 33 matches with a 2-0 win at second-placed Hamilton.
Falkirk’s title success has already been sealed, but hosts Hamilton were eager to inflict a rare defeat on the divisional champions.
A tight affair was settled in the 50th-minute when Ross Maclver fired home from close range before Aidan Nesbitt added a second late on for Falkirk.
Play-off rivals Alloa and Montrose played out a stalemate, which leaves the pair third and fourth in the table respectively.
