Showing his true Heart at London bid

-

A DEDICATED Hearts fan is to run this year’s London Marathon – wearing the colours of rivals Hibs.

Danny Stewart, a Tynecastle season ticket holder for the past 20 seasons, has agreed to run the world-famous race sporting the green-andwhite strip in honour of a cousin who has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Mr Stewart wanted to “do something really special” for his Hibs-supporting relative after hearing of the devastating news earlier this year.

The 40-year-old Hearts supporter will now don the Edinburgh club’s home strip as he attempts to complete the 26 mile and 385 yards race next month in his bid to raise funds for the Marie Curie Cancer Care Charity.
