War tales are told in art
A GLASGOW School of Art third year student’s work is to form the centrepiece of a new week-long exhibition commemorating the work of the Clyde shipbuilders in the First World War effort.
Sam Stopford, who is studying towards a BA honours in painting and printmaking, is among a group of students who have collaborated for the event at the Scottish Maritime Museum in Irvine, North Ayrshire.
Visitors will be able to view the work on display at the Construction and Destruction: Remembering Clyde Shipbuilders 1914-1918 exhibit, from Saturday.
