ITV dance show set to rival Strictly
ITV is launching a new big-budget rival to BBC hit Strictly Come Dancing.
Scheduled for broadcast in 2017, Dance Dance Dance will follow a format developed by The Voice makers Talpa Media, a Dutch production company which ITV acquired last year.
“The show celebrates iconic dance routines from pop, movies and theatre,” an insider said.
“Celebrities and their partners will recreate muchloved numbers on a truly epic scale.”
Each week, one couple will be voted out following a critique from a judging panel.
