France thwarts multiple attacks

NICE: Multiple attacks in Nice have been thwarted since July 14, when a man rammed a truck into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day – killing 86, the city’s prosecutor has said. JeanMichel Pretre said in a TV interview targets included “places of worship, certain gatherings, rallies, stadiums, schools”. The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the Nice attack.
