Fringe funding scheme opens

-

APPLICATIONS for the 2017 Made in Scotland Edinburgh Festival showcase are now open. Made in Scotland is a curated showcase promoting music, theatre and dance to international promoters and audiences at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

A partnership between the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, Creative Scotland, the Federation of Scottish Theatre and the Scottish Music Centre, Made in Scotland is supported through the Scottish Government’s Edinburgh Festivals Expo Fund. The purpose of the showcase is to raise the international profile of Scottish artists through the promotion of their work at the Fringe and the fund is intended to provide additional resources to an existing intention to present work at the festival.

It is not able to support the origination of work, nor will it fully fund a run at the Fringe, but can contribute to direct costs of performing. madeinscotland@edfringe.com
