New Reinhardt group unveils concert series

GUITARIST Lulo Reinhardt returns to Scotland with a new group co-led with fellow guitarist Andre Krengel for a series of concerts this week.

Reinhardt is the grandnephew of European jazz pioneer Django Reinhardt and has added influences from all over the world to his illustrious predecessor’s gypsy swing style. His group with Krengel, whose experiences include Cuban and fado sessions and international success with his band Sina Nossa, appears at Gardyne Theatre, Dundee, today; Crawfordjohn Hall, tomorrow; Fraser Centre, Milngavie, Saturday; and Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh, Sunday. lulo-reinhardt-project.de
