Ray McKinnon had challenged Tope Obadeyi to play an even bigger part in their promotion push.

The Nigerian winger made an instant impact by setting up Tony Andreu for the first of his two goals in last Saturday’s 2-1 league win over morton.

Obadeyi, who signed from Kilmarnock in the summer, has shown in spells what he can do for the Tangerines with his blistering pace. And McKinnon, who takes his side to Easter Road to face Hibs in Sunday’s showdown, said: “Tope came on and gave us a wee spark.

“But I still think he can do better.”
