Let us not hand it to the head
STANDARDS at Gordonstoun appear to have slipped!
In the photograph on October 26 (“Female principal writes new chapter in Gordonstoun history books”, The Herald), the headmaster, Titus Edge, has his hands in his pockets – a serious, punishable offence in my day in a similar educational institute.
I am glad to see the young lads in the photograph beneath that one have their hands behind their back, though this was, perhaps, not an option for the older one – Prince Charles – as he is wearing a kilt. Lisa Kerr, the new appointment as principal of Gordonstoun, will hopefully address this slovenly behaviour. John Marshall, 36 High Road, Auchtermuchty, Fife.
