Fan on pitch at Celtic Euro tie

A FAN was seized by stewards after running on to the pitch during the game at Celtic Park last night and appearing to confront PSG player Kylian Mbappe.

The incident happened during Brendan Rodgers side’s 5-0 defeat in the Champions League.

The French side had just taken a 3-0 lead when the supporter ran on the pitch and approached the

£160 million player.

It was unclear whether the fan had been charged by police with any offence.

A decade ago, Celtic were fined £25,000 by European football’s governing body Uefa after a home fan confronted AC Milan’s goalkeeper.
