PM says she has owl box in her garden

THERESA May has put up a barn owl box in her garden in an attempt to do her bit for wildlife.

The Prime Minister said she and husband Philip try to recycle as much as possible and have also created homes for other birds and bats.

Mrs May also referred to her love of walking – it was during a hiking trip in Wales that she decided on her ill-fated snap election gamble.

She s aid: “We will certainly be making sure that we are recycling as much as possible.

“I’m proud of the fact that we have put a barn owl box, bird boxes and bat boxes up in our garden. So we are trying to do our bit.”
