McGregor’s star shining
SCOTS star Ewan McGregor picked up a prestigious award for his dual role in Fargo.
McGregor, who played twin brothers in the hit TV show, was named best actor in a limited series at the 23rd Critics’ Choice Awards. The actor, who has recently separated from his wife of 22 years, thanked his girlfriend and co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead in his acceptance speech.
Fresh from his Golden Globe victory, Gary Oldman also triumphed as best actor in a film for his performance of Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour.
The Shape Of Water took four awards, including best picture and best director for Guillermo Del Toro.
