Summerhall boss moves

THE Tron Theatre Company has announced that Sam Gough, currently general manager at Summerhall in Edinburgh, is to be their new executive director.

He will join the company in early September 2018.

The Tron is celebrating its 35th year as a producing and receiving theatre, and artistic director Andy Arnold is in his 10th year.

Shereen Nanjiani, chairwoman of the Board of Tron Theatre Company said: “We are delighted to welcome Sam Gough as our new executive director.

“Sam has an impressive track record managing venues and leading organisations at a senior level.”

Mr Gough has been at Summerhall for six years, years in which the former Vet college has become a major Fringe and all-round arts venue. www.tron.co.uk
