Body found in Glasgow lane
A MAN has been pronounced dead after he was found unconscious in a city centre lane.
Officers sealed off West Regent Lane at around 5pm after a 999 alert was raised.
Emergency services were alerted over reports of a man lying in the road.
An ambulance was seen at the lane, but is understood the man was dead by the time the paramedics arrived.
Police Scotland later confirmed that the man was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is being treated as unexplained.
Police officers were seen questioning people in nearby pubs. The lane was cordoned off twice in two days earlier this month after two sexual assaults.
