Josh Dagul, the playermanager of Brady Maccabi B, praised his squad after they clinched the Division Four title with a 5-1 victory over North London Raiders B.

Two goals from “Captain Marvel” James Joseph, plus one apiece from Dan Hildebrand, Reiss Mogilner and Daniel Mattey capped a memorable first season. Sam Morrell fired a consolation for Raiders.

“I’m extremely proud of the whole team,” said Dagul. “Their attitude this season has been top notch. They’ve been a pleasure to manage.

“We’veshownthroughouttheseaoughoutthesea son that we can win in style, but that we can also dig in and win ugly when needed. Those are the basic signs of a great team and I’m already looking forward t o next season.”

Oakwood were crowned champions of Division One following a 3-1 success over Two goals from Jason Lindsay and one e from Dan Abrams s steered the Peter Morrison Trophy finalists to their 12th win of the campaign.

Oaks joint-manager Ric Blank commented: “We’re very excited about playing Premiership football next season. We know it’s a huge step up and a great challenge for the club, but we are determined to give it a go and test ourselves against the best.

“Division One is a tough league as it’s the easiest one to get into but the hardest to escape. We got stronger as the season progressed and have now won 12 games on the bounce.”

Hendon B moved into pole position to win the Division Two title with a 3-1 victory over long-time leaders Camden Park. Mike Khalastchi put Camden ahead but strikes from Raphael Noe (2) and Lolu Hibbert means that Hendon will be crowned champions providing they avoid a heavy defeat against London Maccabi Lions B on Sunday.

“It was a fantastic performance from the boys,” commented Hendon jointmanager Motty Korman. “It was an excellent match played in good spirit against a young and fit Camden team. We look forward to playing against them in Division One next season.

Camden’s Nick Kagan said: “The league wasn’t lost today. Although Hendon are an excellent side and we shared a win apiece this season, we’re left to kick ourselves over three disappointing draws earlier in the season.”
