Broughton bonanza

JOSH BOR (2) and Osher Landes fired MJSL basement battlers Broughton to their first victory of the season in the Tony Cohen Memorial Cup. Sydney Fulda’s men beat Leeds Maccabi 3rd 3-0 to clinch their place in the semi-finals.

Daniel Batton (2), Paul Basger and Dylan Sidle earned Republic of Mancunia 1st a 4-0 victory South Manchester SC 2nd.

In the MJSL, Haroldeans require just two more points to win the league title after Sporting JLGB forfeited their match. Sporting were unable to field a team.

Ben Blackston bagged a brace as Republic 2nd claimed a 2-1 win over Crumpsall.
