Avenue i n Regents Park Road, is increasing­ly popular and welcomes external kosher caterers. Avenue has three main function rooms including the Park ballroom, which has mood lighting, air conditioni­ng and a built-in sound system. It holds 250 for a dinner dance. The Madison room can be used for private parties or as a conference area.

The Kinloss Synagogue’s banqueting suite has been refurbishe­d at a cost of £1.5 million. Facilities include off-street parking and capacity for 430 for dinner and more than 1,000 for a reception. It has three locations for weddings, giving the option of an outdoor or indoor chupah and a classic synagogue setting.

One of the newest venues in the area is the Pillar Hotel, just over the “border” between Hendon and Golders Green. Wedding guests have a private entrance, leading to a garden where the chupah can take place. The hotel provides its own catering supervised by the Federation of Synagogues.
