Leonard Louis. Left us July 20, aged 89. A kind, uncomplain­ing, gentle soul. Deeply loved and forever in our hearts. Sadly missed by wife Bridget, daughters Susie and Jenny, son Steven, grandchild­ren Katie, Clare, David, Jamie, Craig, Zak, greatgrand­daughter Appoline, son-inlaw Richard and also missed by Pascal, Bill, Jess and Gabor.

Alex. Aged 92. Passed away after a long illness. Beloved husband of Norma for 28 happy years, he will be sadly missed, together with children, grandchild­ren and greatgrand­children, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews. A wonderful man, he has left a void in our lives. May he rest in peace.

Alex. He meant many different things to all of us who knew him. He was a father, grandfathe­r, great-grandfathe­r, brother-in-law and uncle. Alex. Our beloved Uncle Alex, the mentor of our family passed away on Saturday, August 2, leaving us broken hearted. Alex. Our dear friend Alex passed away having valiantly fought his long illness with dignity and good humour, with his darling Norma constantly at his side. Alex will be greatly missed by Cicely and Frank. Shalom.

Dorothy Rebecca. A woman of worth and a veritable institutio­n. Much loved mother, nana, great-grandnana and special friend to many, passed away suddenly on August 4, 2014. She cared passionate­ly about her family, friends, community and her religion. She kept her sharp intellect to the last moment and a zest for life that withstood adversity. A huge loss to Hazel, Yvette, all her beloved family and her friends. She will be remembered with love. May her dear soul rest in peace, together with her darling Lionel, Rosemary and Angela.

Maureen (née Taylor). Passed away on Wednesday, July 30. My wife, my love and my best friend for 61 years. Loved and adored mother, grandmothe­r and great-grandmothe­r. She taught all who knew her what courage meant. A beautiful lady, who was our inspiratio­n and she will live in our hearts forever.— Her devoted husband Bernard, children Suzie Cohen and Nick Gold, son-in-law Ronnie, daughter-in-law Ashley, grandchild­ren Ben, Anthony, Lucy, Charlotte and Carter, Samantha, Sophie, Alex and greatgrand­children Rina and Liora.
