Dan and Barbara are so very happy to announce the birth on July 30, of a beautiful daughter, Lara, their first child. A first grandchild for Liliane and Michael Harris and for Lia and Jorge Damazio of Rio de Janeiro and a third great-grandchild for Freda and Albert Harris.

Sam and Abigail are so happy to announce the arrival of Maisie Jo, a little sister for Stella. Devoted grandparen­ts Richard and Adele Manning and Sue and Tony Liefer rejoice.

Doreen (née Zarfati) and Matthew are delighted to announce the birth of their son, Samuel Abraham (Yisrael Shimon), in New York City on July 30, 2014. First grandchild for Mira and the late Avram Zarfati and second grandson for Anthony and Lisa Lustigman, and another greatgrand­son for Myra Lustigman.

Joseph. Passed away on August 5, aged 103. Never stopped caring about his devoted wife Julie and all those around him. Always put others first, even until the last moment. A caring, gentle soul, who deeply loved life, his family, friends and his religion. A true gentleman, whose kindness and warmth will remain an inspiratio­n for all who knew him. Sadly missed by his wife Julie, his daughters Lindy and Paula, Jamal, Geoffrey and his grandchild­ren Sacha, Gabi, Ashley, Richard and Avi.

Joseph. Robert, Corinne and family are so pleased to have had Joe in their lives for so long; he was an inspiratio­n to us all, and his memory and advice will live with us forever. We will miss Joe.

Joseph. Left us Tisha B’Av aged 103. A very kind and sweet brother-in-law and uncle. Greatly missed by Barbara and Ronnie Garfield, Janine and Paul, Shelley and Paul, and Paul and Simone and families. Loving thoughts to Julie, Lindy and Paula.

Joseph. On Tuesday, August 5, our lifelong friend Joe passed away aged 103. We cannot imagine the world without him. Will be forever missed and always remembered. Our thoughts go out to his darling wife Julie, daughters Lindy and Paula, grandchild­ren and all the family. Esther Rebecca. Passed away August 5, aged 86. Will be greatly missed by her heartbroke­n son Paul, daughter-in-law Carole and granddaugh­ter Nicola. Shalom.

David. A kind, loving man, who passed away peacefully at home on August 6, aged 90. Papa Dave will be sadly missed by daughter Raena, son-in-law Nick, daughter-in-law Wendy, sister Trudy, along with his grandchild­ren, great-grandchild­ren, family and friends.

FIELDING.

Dorothy. My lifelong friend for 88 years. We spoke almost every day. Our families were together in simchas and sorrows. I admired her achievemen­ts and those of Lionel and her family. We will miss her.— Stella Simons and family.

Hans. Passed away peacefully on August 6, aged 89. Much loved husband, father and grandfathe­r; he leaves a huge void in all our lives. Already sorely missed by Brenda, Sandra, Andrew, Gary, Tracey, Alison, Yasmin, Chloë, Micaela, Hannah, Sophie and Ruby.

Henry Albert. Passed away peacefully August 8, 2014. Sadly missed by his wife Doreen, son Steven, daughter Ruth, their families, relatives and friends. A kind and wonderful husband and father. May he rest in peace. Shalom.

Mark. My dear brother-inlaw Mark has sadly passed away. The perfect gentleman in every way. He will always remain in our thoughts with loving memories. Our deepest sympathy to Helen and Steven.— Jack, Stephanie and Barrie.

Ivan. Passed away on Tuesday, August 5. To know him was to love him. He will be sorely missed by so many lives he touched. Now at peace, never complainin­g. I am overwhelme­d and surrounded by so much love which is the legacy he left for me after being together for 48 years.— All my love, Jackie.
